March You're Savvy Kit...

Today I had the pleasure of 'working' for my friend San at my LSS in Dapto, Scrapbooking Delights. I had a great day with Tess, Sue & eventually San...who got to clean up the mess I'd made of her shop, LOL! Sorry San, hope it wasn't too bad.. . ;p

While I was 'working' I managed two layouts using the new You're Savvy Kit just released over at Scrapbook Savvy. This is a super bargain kit at only $25 for over $30 worth of value. All I've added is some little Prima alpha & Prima flowers, purchased at Delights while I was there....and yep, I spent my day's wage PLUS MORE!

Little Miss Sulky Face featuring my Georgia, having a moment during a photo shoot with my friend Loz from Red Door Photography.

And a closeup of the title, journal card & cluster...and my hand stitching, can you see it!!!!

Friends Can Tell You Things...a photo of me & my girls at the Savvy Delights Retreat, taken by Tanya from TMK Photography.

And my cluster...

Head over to the store and grab the ONLY kit released at Savvy this month, you will love it!

Lets 'boy' it up....

...with a couple of layouts for the boys in my world!

Best Team - this is a layout for my hubby's album, using one of the We're Savvy Kits last year when Authentique was a brand new manufacturer.

The journalling read '16 teams competed in the 7th International Mines Rescue Compeition on Nov 11 & 12 2010 in Wollongong. Dan's team won! This is a photo he sent me of his trophy! So proud!'

Dan & his team are still getting mileage out of being 'the best team in the world!'

The next one is for Cooper's album, and using some pretty old product but still creating a page that I was really happy with.

There is Always Time for Adventure...

And a closeup...

A Child's Smile....

...is one of life's greatest blessings.

Isn't this so true? On a day when everything is awful and life is hard, one little smile from our babies can bring it all back into perspective in a split second. I guess that's why we have them, hey?!!

This is a page I did with one of the She's Savvy Kits last year and featured some of this gorgeous Authentique paper that is now in the clearance section at Savvy. From memory, I think I used this for one of the Savvy blind scrap sessions at some stage in 2011! (and yep, I'm WAY behind in my blogging - nearly 50 layouts behind actually!!!).

Miss Georgia, colouring in one happy Sunday at Grandma's...

And a token closeup, of course...

I'll be back soon with something else random to show you...I have to blog every day for two months nearly to catch up, eeeeeek!

Thanks for stopping by!

15th March Stuck Sketch...

...and me actually posting about it on the 15th March, how good am I?!

The sketch looks like this...

And my take, using the SOLD OUT February He's Savvy Kit from Scrapbook Savvy. My boys on the hill at WIN Stadium watching their beloved Dragons. My hubby knows full well that he has to take a photo for me to scrap of their boy nights :)

A closeup of the Lil Somethin awesomeness that was included in the kit this month...

And my journalling...gotta love Google and being able to find out the exact details of the night just from the date I'd written on the photo when I got it printed!

Upload your take by the end of March over on the Stuck blog for your chance to win some super sponsor prizes.

Thanks for visiting, see you soon!

Lifting from Scrapbook Trends

So in January we only released one kit at Scrapbook Savvy as we wound down from the Xmas/New Year madness. Life was a bit stressy with kids on holidays and the usual complications that brings to the life of a working parent!

I wanted to scrap with my new kit, but I had nothing...no mojo, no oomph, no drive and certainly no new ideas!

Instead of walking away from the scrapbooking table, I picked up the closest Scrapbook Trends mag which I think was the January issue at the time...I turned to the first layout in the magazine and I scrap lifted it using my kit.

When I finished that page, I went on to the next...and then next! I honestly think that I could scraplift any of the Scrapbook Trends Magazines from cover to cover...the layouts and standard of work in each of these mags just amazes me, every time, without fail.

Here are the layous I lifted, all using the SOLD OUT January You're Savvy Kit.

She Light Up Our World - I couldn't wait to scrap this photo taken by my friend Loz from Red Door Photography of Bronte, like my little girl this photo is just breathtaking. This girl does literally light up our world each and every day, with her chatter & stories & whistling & laughter...this little girl was definitely brought into this world to make our daily lives full of smiles and joy.

Enjoy More...a photo of me taken by my friend Sandie from Sandie Mallon Photography at the SFS Retreat in October. One of the lessons I learnt in 2011 was balance, and learning how to live my life healthily without giving up everything 'bad' for me and also managing my hectic world without medication. A big year for me, with lots of ups & downs but all in all I know I am in a much better place for it come 2012.

And lastly, 19kgs Down - a page about my weight loss journey last year and showing the difference from Xmas 2010 to Xmas 2011!

A closeup of my cluster including some more WOW chipboard.

I've just got the latest Scrapbook Trends Mag in the Savvy store for March, haven't had a chance to read my copy yet but looking forward to doing that maybe over the weekend with a relaxing cup of coffee :)

March 1st Stuck Sketch

Another awesome sketch from Stuck...loving the elements in this one, especially the top right corner - love, love, love it!!!

My take - 'Coop Footy' using the SOLD OUT Feb He's Savvy Kit. Cooper was very excited to get a beach footy for playgroup xmas, with a big 'Coop' branding up the side, he thought it was made just for him!

What are you waiting for?! Go get your Stuck page scrapped and uploaded to the blog for your chance to win some awesome sponsor prizes.
