The last of the retreat layouts!

Its been a week and a half since I returned from retreat...it already seems so long ago and I can't wait for the next one!

Before I drag it out too long and end up forgetting to share them all, here are the rest of the layouts I managed to do whilst retreating with my Hunter friends. I think these are all pretty much 'just because' layouts.

Fiji Sunset from our honeymoon in Fiji. I have used a mix of products here including some gorgeous feathers and Scribble Scrabble papers from Scrapbooking Delights, MME Lush Alphas from SFS and Making Memories diecut and Jenni Bowlin butterflies from Scrapbook Savvy. All of a sudden after doing this page I remembered about my 6x12 holiday photo policy....so this album is now going to be a mix of 12x12 and 6x12 as suggested by my friend San, thanks hun for giving me the idea and stopping me from totally freaking out!

In Utero which is baby Bronte at 19 weeks from memory. The clothesline sticker on this page I've had in my stash since I was pregnant with Cooper, and have finally used it, yay me!

2 Friends Playing using an old kit from SFS, of Georgie and Jared.

She's My Girl, using lots of little bits & pieces really.

Grand Fathers Day of my babies and my Daddy on Fathers Day last year. Dan was at work so we spent the day with my dad instead. Isn't Cooper like him, especially in the top photo?

Grandchildren, again of my dad but this time with baby Spike. I've used gorgeous SEI Moravia papers here that I got at Scrapbooking Delights, just love them.

So thats it, apart from a couple that I can't show. ;)

Thanks for hanging in there, and leaving your lovely comments, always means so much to me especially when I'm feeling a little bit 'flat' as I have been the last week or so. Can't pinpoint it, just not myself. Hopefully it won't last long. :)

Like my new look?

Just for something different, thought I'd make the blog pink....bwahahaha!!

Here's a few randoms, or I'll never get through showing off all these retreat layouts.

Chuffed using February He's Savvy Kit of which there are still some available.

Uh-Oh using some of the new Basic Grey Green At Heart.

First Bike using some bits & pieces including Basic Grey Sugar Rush.

Saying Goodbye about Cooper's graduation, and his last photo with his teacher.

Thats it from me today, its been a tough one with the kids and I'm hanging for bed time. Happy Birthday to my big sister, hope all your dreams come true Nic!

Holiday Layouts

I am still loving the 6x12 size for my holiday photos, and am stoked at how quickly these come together. Here are some from retreat, and this week at crop.

Can't wait to start scrapping the most recent holiday...but just not going there until I'm some of the way through the old ones. Wish me luck!

More Weeks of Me

So I've managed to nearly catch up on my 52 Weeks album, did a few at retreat and another last night. Just need to print the group photo from retreat to start of the next one.

Week 8 - My Hunter Girls about my spur of the moment trip to visit Loz & Peta last month. I used the first March We're Savvy kit which is now sold out, but there is still a Limited Edition March We're Savvy kit using all the same embellishments and the Basic Grey Green At Heart Papers.

Week 9 - Anytime is Coffee Time, using March He's Savvy Kit of which there is only one left in the store!

Week 10 - When They Are Sick using an old kit from SFS, and check out the Jenni Bowlin Butterfly, isn't it just divine!

Week 11 - Meeting an Online Friend, about Anthea coming for Friday night crop. Was so awesome to meet her! Do you like the laser leaves under the flower? This was the first time I had used them and was really happy with the result.

Had a busy day of scrapping yesterday, with crop during the day and my friend Juz here last night after the kidlets were in bed. Tonight another Savvy Crop night and we're nearly booked out again! Can't wait.

Hope everyone has a happy Friday...the weekend is nearly here!

Inspired Blueprints #44

Another awesome sketch this month at Inspired Blueprints, and a double at that!! We all know how hard doubles are....I struggled to get my head around this one, but found the perfect photos of the Pink Concert last year....and the gorgeous new Basic Grey Green at Heart range just worked perfectly!

Here's the sketch, can you believe we're up to Sketch #44 already!

And my take, great memories of an awesome night in the city.

Make sure you upload to the gallery for your chance at this month's prize from our sponsors.

Retreat Classes

So as I said in my last post, I managed 27 layouts on my weekend away at Kate's Retreat! I won't overwhelm you by posting them all at once...so will split them up over a few days.

Here are the pages we did in the retreat classes. The first one was Kate's class on Friday night, which was a Xmas Layout using October Afternoon Very Merry. I FINALLY got Cooper's last xmas as an only child scrapped, and am really happy with the result.

Saturday morning was Peta's first class, using Crate Paper Brook. Love the circles, and love this photo which was taken by by beautiful friend Loz.

And then a blind scrap using the leftovers from the Brook kit. This one is for Dan's album and is our family meeting Anth & Linda's new baby Mason.

Then Saturday arvo, another class with Kate using the awesome Sass Lass Apple Jack range. LOVE this photo of my boy on his last day at preschool, saying goodbye to 'his boys'.

Thanks girls for the classes and making me get more pages done!!! :)

Back to Reality!

Home last night, and a trip to the airport today....and my weekend is officially over! If you didn't already know from the Savvy forum, our secret guest was my gorgeous cousin Donna from QLD, it was so awesome to have her retreating with us. Kate was so happy she cried, it was priceless! :)

I had a great time - scrapped, drank and ate lots. 27 layouts in total, which I am yet to photograph but will share asap.

Here's our group photo from retreat, and some other gorgeous pics underneath the beautiful purple tree.

Me with Peta & Kate - so lucky to have met these girls online at another forum, can't imagine my life without them now!

MY GIRLS! San, Del, me & Donna. Loved travelling, laughing and chatting with these girls all the way up and back!

San & I - a friendship that has grown from strength to strength as we work together to make our businesses amazing. She is my mentor, confidant and friend. Love you, San!

I will be back with layouts when I can, come back soon!

Today I scrapped with the Savvy girls, albeit only a few of us...but I got four more 6x12 pages done with the March She's Savvy Kit, I was stoked!

Finally getting through some of my 2008 QLD trip album, will be nice to get it done and start on this year's QLD trip! Never ends does it!!!

My boys!

A big weekend here, my big boy Adam (aka my nephew and Emma's big brother) turned 18 last week and we celebrated with a party last night. So much fun, way too many drinks...and just a few hangovers today!

Me & the Birthday Boy, he's a bit of a spunk eh! xoxo

Me & my big sis, Nic. :)

Me & Nic with our Mummy.

And Adam with the 'beer bong' which was just a tad scary!!

And then today my little boy Cooper had his first game of football, he did so well and his Daddy & I were so very proud of him.

Cooper with his buddy Clay just before the big game.

And my boy with the ball, running his little heart out. :)

It wasn't all boys this weekend though, I started the weekend with a booked out Savvy Crop with all the girls on Friday night. We were lucky enough to have Peta here AGAIN and also the lovely Anthea joined us for the first time ever. We had an awesome night and I can't wait to see them again.

Only four sleeps till I see Peta and head off to Kate's retreat, its come up so quickly!

No scrapping to show today, the only layouts I've managed this weekend have been for the blind scrap challenge at the Scrapbook Savvy CC this weekend (which is on until Thursday if you want to join in!) and a soon to be released page for Inspired Blueprints. Stay tuned for those which I'll show as soon as I can!

More He's Savvy for March

I visited my friend Sandra last night and spent a few hours in peace scrapping and having a laugh. Here's what I did, more from the He's Savvy Kit for March. I'm loving this kit, the Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips are just to die for!

Leesh's baby Oliver, brand new, this is the photo his Daddy sent to me via MMS just after he was born.

And the awesome day we spent with Peta's & Marijana's families last October, at Kiama. The only thing I've added to this page are some Jillibean Soup Corrugated Alphas from Scrapbooking Delights.

There are only two of these kits left, so grab yourself one! As you can see, these are not just perfect for vintage style scrapping, but any scrapping at all!

One more sleep till my buddy Peta is here again, I can't wait!! She is back to visit her new baby nephew, and spend some time with me (of course). She will be here for our booked out crop tomorrow night AND Anthea is joining us as well! Can't bloody wait!! :)))

Oh and before I forget, tomorrow night and all weekend in the Savvy Forum there will be our monthly Cybercrop. All of the challenges are based around Inspiration and will be posted tomorrow night, you will have till Thursday midnight to have them uploaded in the Gallery. Join us and be inspired, you are sure to find that mojo that has been hiding on a few of you lately. ;)

Hope to see you there!

...by this very inspiring sketch from Inspired Blueprints! Can't believe its March already and we're up to Sketch #43, where is the time going!

And my take, my baby Bronte girl on her first christmas morning.

My girl seems to be much more herself this morning so fingers crossed we're past the worst of it. Here's to a happy Saturday, hope yours is amazing!
