My little dancer!

As you can all see, Georgie is doing great! She started dancing today and just loved it. I thought she might hold back a bit as usually she's a little shy, but no...she jumped in and did all the moves and had the best time. And she was so proud of herself at the end of her class!

Isn't she beautiful!? <3

So I finally caught up with Sandra on Thursday and we completed all the paperwork for our Pink Ribbon Crop last weekend. After all costs were taken into account (room hire, dinner etc) we raised a total of $865 for the Cancer Council. Our Stampin Up representative Barb raised over $200 as well, so a grand total of over $1000 raised. Thanks to everyone for their support, it was a great night and I can't wait for the next one.

No layouts to show today, I've only done a couple this week, one of which was a future sketch for Inspired Blueprints and the other was picked up by Scrapbook Creations the day after I did it! I managed a couple last night at the Savvy crop but haven't had a chance to photograph as yet. Will do soon though. :)

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, mine is going great and I'm feeling really good about everything. Just going with the flow and trying not to stress. Life's too short. Hubby is home tomorrow, I so can't wait to see him. Then only five more sleeps and I'm off to Peta's place for the Scrapbooking From Scratch Retreat, its going to be a blast!

Pink Ribbon Crop Layouts

Thanks to everyone for all your comments about Georgie, she is doing GREAT and I am doing OK. Feeling a little better about it all...but its still sad. :(

Thought I better share my layouts from the Pink Ribbon Crop, we had an awesome time and raised money for a worthy cause! I will let you know how much we raised on Thursday when Sandra & I sit and work it all out.

This first one was the PINK challenge on the night which included certain criteria we had to have on our page.

And this one was the sketch challenge on the night. Another 6x12 for the holiday album.

An old xmas one of Daniel being crazy while I was trying to get a family photo, he's so annoying!

One of George, a purple layout which I always find hard to do, but turned out ok in the end.

And this one of my gorgeous nephew Spike, which I TOTALLY scraplifted from Emma's layout of the same photo.

We had a crop day here at Savvy today, a lovely day with the girls. Tomorrow DH is off to the National Mines Rescue competition in Lithgow for five days....I'm gonna miss him so much! Hope they do good but.

I'm repaying the favour next week when I leave for Peta's retreat and he is home with the kids....can't wait, 9 more sleeps! :)

My poor girl..

Georgie fell on the slippery dip while we were at the park for Alicia's baby shower yesterday morning. She was so upset, I thought she'd only split her lip and couldn't understand why it took her so long to calm down. It was only when she settled down and gave me a big smile that I realised she'd knocked her teeth up into her gum. I was devastated, and just fell to pieces. Took her to the medical centre, they sent me to the hospital, who then sent me to another hospital where a dentist met me.

Here she is waiting at the hospital, you can see from the photo just how far up her tooth was pushed.

One good thing is that after the initial impact, she wasn't actually in any pain, thank goodness.

I had to make the decision whether to leave her tooth with a high risk of infection, which could in turn damage her future teeth. My other option was to have the tooth removed. There was no way I was risking infection, pain and complications...so out it came. She was so good in the chair, only whimpering as the needles were put into her gums, poor baby.

She was very excited last night at the prospect of the tooth fairy coming, here she is putting her tooth under her pillow...

And this morning, look what the tooth fairy left!

She's a little bit swollen today, but again not complaining of any pain at all, she's such a good girl.

Mummy isn't coping so well, I'm feeling really down about it. As someone who has teeth dramas and has had for ten years, the last thing I ever wanted for one of my babies was the same issues.

She has to have xrays in a couple of weeks to check everything, and to see how the tooth next to the one she lost is holding up. Then all we can do it wait and hope that her big teeth come through when she's old enough.

For now we have gappy toothless Georgie for her photos....but omg, she's sooooo cute, isn't she?

:)

Sketch #32

The newest sketch at Inspired Blueprints is another pearler, here it is:

I had to give it a couple of go's before I was happy with it, but heres my take:

Make sure you give it a go!!

A busy week so far here, organising for Saturday's Pink Ribbon Crop Day...don't forget to book in if you're in the Wollongong area, its going to be an awesome day for a worthy cause.

All is pretty much back to normal with me, thank goodness. Bubby was sick tonight though, throwing up all over herself, Daniel, her bedroom, Georgie's bed...fingers crossed its just a one off though and she'll be fine in the morning.

I was very excited this morning to receive two acceptance emails from Scrapbooking Memories, what a way to cheer my day up!! Here's to the rest of the week being just as wonderful.

Cheers,
Sar

Super Scrapping Mojo!

I've got the scrapping bug, I'm still not feeling 100% healthwise but OMG, I must be feeling better than I was as I have been hit by some scrapping mojo! 3 layouts at crop night on Friday then 5 more layouts yesterday and one more today!

Plus I did some organising for the Pink Ribbon Crop Day that is happening next weekend (contact me if you would like to book in!) and also sent a Savvy newsletter. A bit productive for a Sunday, eh!

I can't show a couple of my latest layouts, but here are the ones I can.

When Peta came down she hand delivered some awesome kits that I'd ordered online at her store SFS. One of them was the Round & Round Kit, which I got three kits out of and just LOVED! Here they are:

An SFS sketch created by Kate.

Another sketch by Kate.

And yet another sketch by Kate, this kit came with a full sheet of sketches, what a bonus!

And then I got to playing with the brand new Shabby Green Door - Farmers Market Range that you'll find at Scrapbook Savvy. OMG, its awesome and so damn versatile! Boy pages, girl pages, this range suits them all!

This one is the monthly sketch at SFS.

And then some Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co, my fave Christmas range at the moment, this xmas pic from 2006!

And another page from an SFS kit.

So there you have it, some scrapping inspiration, lets hope this mojo continues as this month has started off pretty ordinary with being so sick.

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday, I've had Linda & Alicia here for the day, they've just left. Em is still here and I'm off to start dinner. Have a good one! :)

On the mend

I think, fingers crossed! Feeling a tad better today, so hopefully I'm over the worst of whatever the hell this is. Back at the doctors tomorrow though, just to get checked over again.

A hair appointment tomorrow as well, omg I'm so excited! My hairdresser recently had a baby and I've been waiting patiently for her to be working again...and she is! So I'll be there at 9am in the morning, for three hours of relaxing and childfree bliss! :)

This week has been a busy one, with Peta visiting and two booked out crops to organise. Yesterday was a success, and I'm really looking forward to Friday night with the girls. Today my family joined Peta's and Marijana's for a day out in Kiama, which was lovely (but chilly!) and we only had to run from the rain once, lol! Our kids all get along so well, its awesome and I wish Pj lived closer. xoxo

Some scrapping to show, long overdue I know!

This one was Peta's blind scrapping last Monday, it took forever between illness and crappy weather to find time to take a photo!

A Pagemaps sketch of me & my sis from a few years ago at our friend Jacquie's wedding in QLD.

Sara's Random Challenge over at Savvy this month which had to have a large photo, 3 or more papers and a rubon.

And one just because, me & Lisa & Loz when we met Heidi Swapp last year, so exciting!

I have one cranky baby tonight that doesn't want to go to sleep, so I best go.

BUT guess what...there is some super exciting stuff coming to Scrapbook Savvy next month...I'll be keen to share with you really soon!

STILL SICK!

Can you believe it? I'm still feeling like crap. Have been to the doctors three times this week, had a full course of antibiotics which haven't helped, blood tests which showed nothing, and now on penicillin for 10 days. The doctor thinks it maybe a viral infection, and also a throat infection. I have to admit I am feeling a touch better today than I was yesterday, and praying to be TOTALLY better by tomorrow for Peta to arrive!!!

The only page I have to show is one I did last weekend, another 6x12 for the holiday album.

Thats it for now, hopefully my mojo will return with my health very very soon!
