Inspired Blueprints

I was sooo sad when I realised my time was coming to an end at Inspired Blueprints, so I decided to reapply. I tried so hard on my DT application layout, seriously that one layout took me FIVE hours which is massive for me! I was saying to my girlfriends, I really don't think I'll get in as there are always so many beautiful layouts in the gallery and there are so many talented people out there....but guess what? They picked me again! :)

I am very pleased, and proud of myself, and glad I made the decision to try again. I can't show you my application layout just yet, but will just as soon as it is released here.

Cheers,
Sar

Loz is coming!

Any minute now Loz will be here with Luke & Chloe...but while I'm sitting here, killing time by watching the footy and surfing the net, I thought I'd update my little old neglected blog which hasn't been getting too much love this week! :)

I managed a few layouts last weekend, lots of scrapping time with my girls which is always a joy. Love that they come and just feel comfortable in my little at home store, makes me happy.

Here's what I achieved, all of these just because.

I'm sure there were more but can't seem to find them right now? Oh well.

Hope you're all having a lovely Friday night, we're watching the Dragons win which is always good! Hope the weekend treats you well, mine will with Daniel being off work and home with us for a change. Bliss!

Cheers,
Sar

IB Reveal

The second reveal for Sketch #24 over at Inspired Blueprints is finally up...and here are mine! I had to do the 8.5 x 11 and the card this month, which usually scares the crap out of me...but this month I actually really enjoyed, and was stoked with the end result.

And yes, more layouts using Pink Paislee Fascinating, i know...I really should find a new range to play with but this one is just so yummy I can't walk away from it... ;)

I have some layouts to share from the weekend, but am running short on time after my sale yesterday @ Savvy! Another day.

Sar

Snap Super Sunday Sale

All day today the Scrapbook Savvy store has 30% off storewide! Just cause I need more to do, lol! Head on over and stock up on all the necessities, plus there are lots of new things that I'm sure you just HAVE to have.

Big weekend of scrapping here for me, Friday night crop amounted in two layouts and then last night I managed four! Juzzy came over to scrap with Loz, Emma & I, another late but fun night. I'll photograph these layouts a bit later when there is some light...its still too early for that, damn baby girls getting me out of bed... ;)

Here's what I can show so far. Used the Crate Paper Lillian range I picked up at Scrapbooking Delights on this one, nice huh, very girly pretty range.

Then this one using paper I pinched from Loz, cause I don't have enough of my own! Hehe ;) The Scrapware cow was perfect for this page and Lisa worked her magic, cutting my cow's head off and mounting it for me. Thanks Lis! You are definitely the Scrapware queen, hun.

Am hoping for an early night tonight, Hayles might be coming round to scrap at some point but I'm hoping to be in bed not long after my kids....as I desperately need to catch up on some much needed sleep. Oh and speaking of Hayles, she made the DT for the Scrap The Boys challenge site! I'm so happy for her, her scrapping is amazing and she will definitely inspire lots of people over there. Congrats Hayley!

Hope you have a happy Sunday, here's to mine being a busy one!

Cheers,
Sar

Catchup

My week has been huge, I'm running on empty and really need a rest...but yeh right, no time for that! :)

Here's some pics from the Biggest Morning Tea crop, we had a great day and raised $400 for the Cancer Council. Can't wait for the next one.

Mum, Rhonda, Gail & Linda

Me & Leesh

Margaret & Me

I didn't really start scrapping myself until around 5pm when it was only Linda & left. She stayed for a quick pizza dinner and left around 10.30pm, and I got three layouts done! Nothing compared to her 10 layouts in 12 hours, but at least it was something...

This is a photo that Des just gave me not long ago....and looking back four years, holy crap, Cooper was so little! Can't believe he'll be five soon. :(

A day while Loz was here in December, Daniel popped in with the firetruck and it was the perfect photo opportunity.

And this one for Georgia's album...I've actually scrapped this photo once before for Cooper's but had to do it again for hers.

I have some more to show from last week and the weekend that I haven't had a chance to put up yet...I can't believe I've actually been getting some scrapping done, lucky the girls are 'forcing' me to scrap by coming here to play.

This one for Mel's Lucky Dip Challenge at the Savvy CC, I had to use S - Stiching, A - Animals, R - Ribbon & H - Heart. Don't forget the deadline for the challenges is midnight tonight, Thursday 18 June, so you still have time to get yours done!

And the next couple I did at the Scrapbooking Delights crop last Friday night, which by the way was lots of fun and great to hang out with Sandra again.

This was Renee's CC challenge in which we had to use just one product line plus a couple of extra bits. I've used Scenic Route Garden Grove, one of the newest lines available at Savvy.

And lastly thise one which was Lisa's Sketch Challenge for the CC, I've used some old papers from my stash, but still happy with final result.

If you're looking for a fun product to add to your layouts, check out the 7 gypsies 97% Complete Journal Stickers that have just arrived instore @ Savvy, here's a couple just to tempt you. ;)

Check out the entire range here!

And more...yep, I haven't shared layouts for a bit, they're building up!

Mel's Savvy Scraplift challenge for June, which was actually a lift of one of MY layouts! Was fun scraplifting myself, I should do this more often with pages I'm really happy with.

And last of all, my take on Lisa's Sketch Challenge for June...using up some of my old boy BG lines that are overflowing in my paper stash...

Well hows that for a layout share, omg! Best get myself out of my pj's and get some work done.

I'm hoping and praying that things improve in Loz's house today, so she can come down for the weekend and do the course with Janine Kaye she is SO looking forward to. Sending good vibes babe! xoxo

Bye for now,
Sar

Savvy Cybercrop!

My first ever Scrapbook Savvy Cybercrop will be held this weekend! Starting Friday night you will receive lots of great challenges in the forum, and you'll have nearly a week to submit your entries with the deadline being midnight Thursday 18 June. There will be a mixture of prizes including prize packs and vouchers, and we have chatting, bingo and a blind scrap planned for Saturday night so head on over to our CC thread in the forum for more info. Hope to see you there!

So last night was Pink @ the Sydney Entertainment Centre....and omg, what can I say? She was amazing (just as I expected after her last show) and we all had an awesome night. Here's a few pics.

I do have some scrapping to show as well from the weekend...I'm a bit behind in the blogging this week with the business of the sale, then Pink and today coming home and needing to spend some time with my babies who missed their Mummy. :)

This page started with a page from May Pagemaps, but I strayed a little from the original after going totally askew with the Glitz roller doodle! Worked out well though and I'm loving this colour combo. A page of when I visited my friend Loz in Maitland last October, and we also met Peta for the first time. Beautiful girls, both of them, who I am lucky to call my friends. :)

I think thats the only one I can show at the moment! Thought there were more than that...oh well...

I really need to get to bed, lots to do tomorrow and I'm buggered from the week that was....so bye for now and hope to see you soon.

Cheers,
Sar

One more sleep!

This time tomorrow night I'll be here....

I can't wait! AND as an added bonus I get to spend the night with my buddy Loz! Its been too long between visits and I've missed her.

Lots to show from the weekend but that'll have to wait. The Savvy sale went really well and I've had a few busy days of packing orders, more to do in the morning. Thanks everyone for your support, it means so much. xoxo

Better go to bed, I need my sleep before my big night out!

Bye!

Savvy Sale!

I decided on the spur of the moment to have a Storewide Sale at Scrapbook Savvy for the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend! Its on now and ends midnight Monday 8 June, and the entire store is 20% off. Some awesome bargains to be had, with lots of new stock to chose from as well as some older stocked moved to clearance at ridiculous prices.

I spent some time yesterday making some kits with My Minds Eye papers, and these are going for less than $10 per kit during the sale. Here's a few to tempt you...

In other news, both Emma & I had layouts accepted by Scrapbooking Memories today! So exciting...its the first time we've submitted in a while. :)

Crop night was a success for everyone but me tonight, I only managed one layout in six hours! Had a fun time but, its always awesome to be in the company of other scrappers and just see what everyone else comes up with.

Its nearly 2am so I best be getting some sleep, hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Cheers,
Sar

18 LO's for May!

I think thats a pretty good total considering how busy I've been, don't you? Its just lucky that I have girls coming here to scrap....it MAKES me do some actually scrapping instead of computer or shop work. So thanks girls, I owe you. ;)

Here is what I managed this weekend, they're all just because layouts I wanted to do.

I used leftovers from my class with Carole Jansen at SIA for this one.

My favourite Kaiser range yet, Mama Bushka, teamed with some of the Dotted Swiss Bazzill available at Scrapbook Savvy.

And a page made with some leftovers from my last DT kit at Mystical Scrapbooks.

So now its June, nearly halfway through the year, I can't believe it! Only nine weeks until the Bon's Retreat in Melbourne, and eleven weeks until the Scrapbooking Delights Retreat in Tahmoor. Don't forget to book in with Sandra @ Scrapbooking Delights on 4260 8885 to join us, Sandra & Lisa are organising some awesome challenges and classes, while Savvy will be the shop for the entire weekend away!

I can't wait...but in saying that, omg have I got some organising to do! :p

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Domayne and finalised the purchase of all our kitchen appliances, the bank account is looking a lit bit sad for it today though! Thursday we are picking the laminate and the caesarstone colour, then its all up to our friend Joe who owns High Kraft Kitchens. Like I don't have enough chaos in my life without a kitchen renovation...but I know it'll be so worth it and just gorgeous when its done.

Daniel had his ultrasound today, which showed absolutely nothing at all, can you believe it? He is on some medication to help his digestion and has to go back to his normal way of eating, and basically wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed it was just some sort of weird bug and he'll be fine, guess we'll see soon enough.

Cheers,
Sar
